BOP POOP SHEET-WEEK OF AUGUST 22, 2016
This is our first football game week of the year. This will be the first time the Bruin Nation will see your 2016 competition show. This is a mandatory performance and your attendance is required. Please review the schedule and information below:
Tuesday August 23, 2016 Rehearsal 4:30 to 6:30PM
Thursday August 25, 2106 Rehearsal 4:30-8:30PM (Dinner Break at 6:00)
Friday August 26, 2016 Rehearsal 4:30-5:15PM
Warm Up on Front Porch 6:00PM
Estimated End of Game 9:30PM
The dress for the game will be your summer band uniform. (Band-Orange T-Shirt, khaki shorts, white socks, and white shoes. Guard-Teal T-Shirt, black shorts, white socks, and white shoes)
Please note the following rules for the football game and all BOP performances:
* No jewelry
* Long hair should be pulled back and in pony tails.
* No food or drink in the stands except for water.
* Please sit with your section.
* Band members and support parents only in the band section of the stadium.
* NO CELL PHONES in the stands and during performances.
You will get the 3rd quarter off to have concessions. Please bring money with you to the stadium. You will not be allowed to go back into the school to get money.
Reminder: Wednesday August 31st is our Tin Caps Performance. This is also a mandatory performance for BOP members. The uniform for this performance will be the summer band uniform. Here is a tentative schedule for this performance:
4:30-4:50PM Dress and load trailer
4:50PM Depart Northrop
5:15PM Arrive at Parkview Field and unload trailer
5:30PM Warm Up
6:40PM Load Trailer
7:00PM National Anthem (Seniors and selected upperclassmen)
9:00PM Load Buses
9:30PM Arrive at Northrop, Unload Trailer, and go home.
Please bring money if you wish to eat at Parkview Field.
If you are going to remain at the game with your parents, you must have a note from your parent turned into the staff by the end of rehearsal on Tuesday August 30th. You and your parent must check in with the staff before the band leaves the game at 9:00PM.
