Come out for a night of fun at Texas Roadhouse located at 710 W. Washington Center Road on February 19th between 4-10pm. Enjoy great food, spend time with your family, and eat all the peanuts you can eat! Please remember to have the flyer available either in print or pulled up on your phone to show the wait staff. Make sure you give Mom Gardner your receipt so 10% of the proceeds will be donated back to BOP! This is a great way to reconnect with your band family!
Challenge: Which section will have the most participants? There will be a prize awarded to the winning section.
We are excited to see you there.
We are happy to announce that we have McDonald’s coupon books available as a student fee fundraiser for BOP.
These coupon books are a great way to raise money for your student fees. We pay only $.50 per coupon book and charge $5. So we get 90% profit. Not only that, these coupon books are good through the end of 2018.
We will be passing out coupon books this coming Wednesday January 31st at 6:00 in the band room.
If for some reason you can’t make it on Wednesday but want to pick up coupons please contact either Amanda Crist or Greg Houser. We will also have other dates to pick up tickets.
This has been an excellent fundraiser in the past. We hope that will help you get your students fees paid. You can even gain credit for next year’s fees if you’ve already paid for this year.
Attention all instrumental music and color guard parents!
We have an important fund raiser for the instrumental music program coming up. It is the Barry Ashton Jazz Festival, scheduled for Saturday March 10th. This is another of our important fund raisers for the program and is also a great showcase of our student musicians here at Northrop.
This means that we need all parents to volunteer. The jazz festival raises 2-3 thousand dollars for the program and since the jazz bands only comprise a small percentage of music students overall, we need other parents to help.
So, we are scheduling an organizational meeting this Thursday 1/25 at 6:00 pm. Please note the earlier start time compared to our regular NIMPA meetings.
See you all there!
